Job description

Your role and responsibilities
The Director BEC - Europe is responsible for planning, analyzing, executing and maintaining all required tasks in alignment with our mid- and long term localization and manufacturing strategy. This includes supporting the strategy process with visions and ideas to create the foundation for sustainable competitiveness for products manufactured in EU. 

  • Planning, organizing and executing the manufacturing strategy in EU 
  • Building up effective teams to implement and monitor the required EU supply chain 
  • Implemement all necessary state-of-the-art processes for BEC-EU 
  • Continuously evaluate and improve our processes, supply chain capabilities and product costs  
  • Provide functional guidance and support to IM Factory 
  • Pro-actively support the BEC-EU strategy and its implementation 
Your profile
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Management Production experience, especially related to machining (turning and milling) 
  • Experience with continuous improvement methods (e.g. 8-D, TPM, Ishikawa) 
  • Business accumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, german and english 
  • Excellent organizational, leadership and managerial skills
  • Culture competence
  • Building up effective teams
