Job description

This is a remote position.

Scope:

  • Manage communication across multiple phone lines and email accounts

  • Handle an average of 5-10 calls and 12 emails daily, with higher volumes on weekends

  • Prepare financial data for handoff to professional bookkeepers and accountants

  • Assist in streamlining processes and potentially train future team members as the business grows

  • Work closely with the business owner to understand and meet the evolving needs of the company

  • Monday to Friday from 2 PM to 11 PM EST with 1 hour unpaid break

Responsibilities :
  • Manage and respond to customer inquiries via phone and email for both real estate and short-term rental businesses

  • Handle bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and cross-referencing bank accounts using Excel

  • Assist with various software applications used in the vacation rental business, including channel managers and pricing software

  • Coordinate check-ins and check-outs for short-term rental properties

  • Provide general administrative support across multiple business lines

  • Prioritize and manage tasks from different areas of the business

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in Excel and basic bookkeeping principles

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems

  • Customer service oriented with a problem-solving mindset

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Flexibility to handle varying workloads, especially during peak times (weekends)
