What you’ll be doing...
As an Analyst-Supply Chain, you will be responsible for RAN network retirements processed prior to disposal. direct to retirement initiatives. You will focus on direct to retirement initiatives and ensure our internal customers receive a standard, accurate list of equipment that meet financial requirements and have no internal reuse. You will be responsible for ensuring the flow and processing of returned equipment via internal/external tools, databases, and emails. You will ensure that the equipment generates the most revenue and margin for Investment Recovery while maintaining corporate, environmental, legal and regulatory compliance. You will seek out process improvements and best practices that can be leveraged to drive efficiency across the supply chain. You will build collaborative relationships by providing partnership and communication, both verbally and in writing, with customers and internal teams to further strategic initiatives. You will be identifying areas for process improvements, enhanced operational efficiencies and establishing plans for implementation - all while aligning processes with centralized, strategic direction.
Processing, tracking, and reporting all RAN retirements by working with asset owners, facilities, and corporate finance to confirm all SOX compliance requirements are met.
Processing any backlog retirement issues and resolving any escalations or discrepancies.
Working with various distribution teams and field teams to ensure processes are followed and executed.
Processing, tracking, and reporting all asset retirement and disposal activities.
Working with engineering and other equipment owners on all assets being decommissioned to ensure a full understanding of appropriate procedures relevant for the planned final disposition of the asset.
Working with internal teams to identify potential reuse opportunities for all decommissioned equipment to ensure maximum asset utilization prior to retiring.
Identifying opportunities to automate processes and partner with IT teams to execute.
Training, guiding and supporting downstream teams and others as needed.
Identifying operational inefficiencies, developing solutions, addressing expedites and escalations.
Utilizing company assets in lieu of buying new equipment in order to achieve cost avoidance objectives.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
Experience with SAP.
Inventory/Asset Management experience.
Experience in Excel, Word, G-Suite, and web-based tools.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A degree.
Background in accounting and inventory control principles.
Knowledge of wireless industry products and services.
Effective time management skills, ability to work independently, and make decisions within the guidelines of Verizon Wireless business standards.
Experience working in a team-based environment.
Advance knowledge of analytics tools like Tableau, Click and Smartsheet.
Knowledge of Webi reporting tools.
