Overview 

Solace is seeking an experienced VP of Product Marketing to lead our product marketing function and collaborate on market strategy at the executive level. We are looking for someone with deep experience working within/around the enterprise integration, API management and data streaming technology markets. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for aligning product marketing initiatives with the company’s overall business strategy and delivering measurable outcomes. 


What you will do

  • Lead Solace’s product marketing function and team: Own the processes to develop impactful product messaging, positioning, and competitive differentiation, ensuring clear articulation of value propositions across target markets and verticals. Establish and maintain excellence in taking new products and features to market (launches, NPI processes). Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous learning.  
  • Drive go-to-market strategy (GTM) and execution: Work with the executive team to develop GTM strategies aligned with Solace’s business goals. Oversee the execution of GTM strategies across marketing, sales and partner channels.  
  • Lead market research efforts, buyer persona development, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and strategic shifts in the market. 
  • Represent the voice of the customer: Leverage customer feedback, competitive analysis, and data-driven insights to influence product direction and company strategy. 
  • Support sales enablement and alignment: Ensure sales teams are fully equipped with the tools, training, and content necessary to communicate the value of Solace solutions effectively to customers and prospects. 
  • Be an executive evangelist for Solace: Represent Solace at industry events, conferences, and with media and analysts to elevate our presence in the market and position the company as a leader in EDA and event streaming. 

 

 Who you are 

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, with a deep understanding of enterprise IT, cloud technologies, middleware, or event streaming platforms.  
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, driving go-to-market strategies at a strategic and executive level. 
  • Proven ability to craft compelling B2B product positioning and messaging strategies that drive market differentiation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. You have a tried and tested process and methodology that works) 
  • Proven success in crafting and executing market strategies that drive growth, align with corporate objectives, and deliver measurable business outcomes. 
  • Extensive experience collaborating with C-suite and cross-functional leaders to shape and influence company strategy. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making and product direction. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to executive teams, customers, and industry stakeholders. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, technology, engineering or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications (PMA, PMI) preferred.
