What you’ll be doing...

As an Application Support Consultant for Global Sourcing, Supply Chain and Sustainability, you are responsible for fallout error support, correction and reconciliation.  You identify and document trends in error fallout that  lead to a successful resolution thereby reducing or eliminating the fallout cause.  This includes metrics tracking,  logging and tracking defects to resolution, metrics gathering and presentation.  You partner with the Quality/Test management team to ensure sufficient knowledge transfer, documentation and training for the production support team on new functionality or tools in advance of the support transition.  This includes formal sign-off between the teams to transfer support to the BAU environment. You will work with end-users to answer questions and help resolve first-level issues on technology matters.  You will partner with IT when additional assistance is needed to resolve technology issues tied to functionality and / or interfaces.

You will be responsible for:

  • Understand operational business processes and opportunities across Global Sourcing, Supply Chain and Sustainability

  • Work on fallout error support, correction and reconciliation

  • Identify, own, and drive defect resolution tied to end-user issues or error fallout

  • Receipt of knowledge transfer, documentation and training from the Quality/Test team on defect fixes, new enhancement or new technology tools in advance of transition to steady-state support

  • Create and deliver training to end-users as needed

What we’re looking for...
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience

  • Experience in inventory planning and inventory planning tools

  • Experience in SAP application suites (S4 HANA, Ariba, IBP, CAR, MDG)

  • Experience in participating on cross functional teams with understanding of how business and technical requirements interweave to create product solutions

  • Ability to manage and balance business and technical requirements

  • Experience in communicating (written and spoken) highly technical, multi-faceted solutions to business partners / end-users in a simple, understandable manner

  • Experience in troubleshooting and analyzing issues

  • Organized with an ability to manage competing priorities

  • Experience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Master’s degree

  • Good team player, well organized and self-starter

  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to multitask
