What you’ll be doing...
  • Delivering solutions using the Pega platform for Pega Case Management and Decisioning applications
  • Working with different stakeholders in all stages of software delivery
  • Taking ownership of modules and deliver business requirements with quality and in a timely fashion
  • Working with Architecture and Governance teams to Develop tools and features for on top of the Pega platform
  • Performing platform maintenance activities such as Upgrades, Skimming, etc.
  • Using professional concepts, company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of difficult problems in creative and practical ways
  • Supporting and encourage new members and juniors in the team with technical and functional knowledge
  • Supporting Infra/Admin team with analysis of env issues
  • Understanding interactions with upstream and downstream applications and their impact on the Pega applications and features
  • Monitoring and analyze exceptions and alerts reported in the logs and engage relevant teams based on RCA
  • Planning, designing, developing, coding and testing software systems or applications for software improvements and new products; revising and refining as required.
  • Participating in the development of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of systems.
  • Conceptualizing and developing prototypes quickly in working with the product and architect.
  • Engaging in engineering discussions, contributing to the conversation, providing your own opinions, asking thoughtful questions for clarification, and enriching the environment.
  • Building something awesome. The ideal project is something you can be proud of that we use in our product.
  • Maintaining and improving existing code with a pride of ownership.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You are self-driven with experience in the design and implementation of complex and distributed systems, particularly in building high-performance backend and/or frontend frameworks. You have a passion for seeking engineering excellence and adopting new technologies. You are not afraid to drive for success by working with multi-functional teams.


You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • One or more years of relevant work experience in developing Pega applications.
  • Worked with branch development and understands the CICD process.
  • Have worked on integrations such as REST, SOAP, Kafka, and listeners such as File, Email, and MQ.
  • Worked on Pega 8. x versions.
  • Pega CSSA certification.
  • Worked on debugging code and platform issues and have expertise in Pega debugging tools such as Tracer, Rules and Alert Logs, and PDC portal.
  • Engaged in code reviews and implemented best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Domain experience in utilizing Pega capabilities at scale with a strong internal operational understanding.
  • Knowledge of the No-SQL DBs.
  • Experience with the Agile delivery process.
  • Participated in Pega Hackathons and tools development.
