What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Own end to end strategy, planning, and execution of the education marketing strategy in Brazil based on deep local knowledge
  • Develop online marketing campaigns on education spanning across channels including Meta, Google, TikTok and more; work cross-functionally with teams in both Brazil and Global to conceptualise, plan, execute, and report campaigns
  • Manage education communities, own the growth and development of education community programs and online groups in Brazil
  • Host webinars and in-person workshops for teachers, education professionals, and creatives
  • Partner closely with education sales to identify growth opportunities for Canva for Education
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with events, social, community, external agencies and external functions to deliver on education goals
  • Participate and drive community and partner participation in local education conferences and events
  • Work alongside global and local teams to deliver education content that create cultural connection, are locally relevant, and deliver against our business goals

You're probably a match if

  • You possess proven experience in a senior marketing roles, ideally with experience working in education and tech.
  • Are a well-rounded marketer that is comfortable working in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are demonstrate keen analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex, disparate datasets into insights that drive strategies and solutions.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Portugueses and English, allowing you to successfully influence and communicate complex information clearly to your colleagues and through marketing material.
  • You possess strong cross-functional skills, including working with sales, growth, and social teams
  • Full proficiency in Portuguese and English is required


About the team

As part of the International Marketing Group, our LatAm Marketing team for driving market-specific growth goals and comprehensive market strategies across LatAm across a variety of functions - performance marketing, brand, events, partnerships, social, community engagement and other growth channels.

As Education Marketing Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to Canva’s education marketing strategy from ideation to execution. You’ll think like an owner and work closely with a cross functional team in rallying towards our ambitious growth goals.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, you’re confident in making data-driven decisions and driving alignment between your key stakeholders. You have a knack for problem-solving, getting your hands dirty in identifying new opportunities and continuous process improvements. You’ll also have a background in Education, and have a deep understanding of the education landscape of Brazil.
