Job description

System & Support Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated System & Support Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and supporting various IT systems, including AzureAD, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), Intune, and end-user support for a range of software applications. This role will be crucial in facilitating smooth access management, cross-cloud deployments, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Microsoft Entra and Identity Management:

    • Administer and maintain Azure Active Directory (Entra).

    • Manage user identities, roles, and access permissions.

    • Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions for enhanced security.

  • Intune and Device Management:

    • Configure and manage Intune for device and application deployments.

    • Support Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.

  • Cloud Platform Identity, Authentication, and Authorization Support:

    • Demonstrate a solid understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.

    • Provide support for cross-cloud deployments and access management.

    • Implement automation solutions to streamline cloud operations.

  • Corporate Platform and user support

    • Provide technical assistance to internal personnel with computer hardware and software

    • Ensure efficient platform management and provide end-user support for Google Workspace, 1Password, JFrog, Jira, and Confluence.

    • Resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available resources within the company

  • Collaboration with People Operations and Business Operations:

    • Work closely with the People Ops team to facilitate onboarding and offboarding of employees and contractors

    • Act as a liaison between engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

    • Partner with third-party vendor(s) to order and manage work device(s) deployment for new hires, and device collection for offboarding employees

  • Vendor and Billing Management:

    • Coordinate and drive vendor relationships.

    • Manage engineering billings and oversee 3rd party engagements to optimize costs and efficiency

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in system and support administration, with a focus on cloud platforms and identity management.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Experience working closely with software developers & engineering teams.

  • Strong writing skills in drafting and creating Knowledge Base documentation 

  • Knowledge of IT best practices and the ability to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies.

  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects

Nice to Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, Intune) is a plus.

  • Passion for Web3 technology.

  • Familiarity with IT automation software (CI/CD)

  • Experience with web3 frontend tools such as web3js and eth.js.

  • Past experience building frontend applications that interact with wallets.
