About the Role

An established paranormal-themed podcast expanding into YouTube seeks a video editor to enhance their content for the platform. This remote position focuses on creating polished, engaging video content from raw podcast recordings. The role offers potential for long-term collaboration as the channel grows.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw podcast footage to create engaging YouTube content
• Remove technical imperfections (pauses, filler words, stutters)
• Maintain natural conversation flow while ensuring smooth transitions
• Optimize pacing for viewer engagement
• Add basic visual elements and transitions where appropriate

Requirements

• 1-3 years of video editing experience
• Proficiency in major video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
• Understanding of audio editing principles
• Experience with content optimization for YouTube
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in audio cleanup
• Ability to maintain consistent style across multiple episodes
