Skills and Experience You Will Need:
GalaxE.Solutions, LLC has multiple positions available for Sr. Software Engineers – Java in Mendham Borough, NJ [This is a hybrid position. May work from home within commuting distance to office and/or worksite location. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated worksites throughout the United States is required.] to design and develop web services and UI pages using UML Modeling, MVC Architecture and Object Oriented Programming. Gather system requirements and collaborate with the software developers/ technical team. Define multiple approaches to business problems and implement technical solutions. Verify stability,interoperability, portability, security, scalability of system architecture and ensure that the code is well aligned with the requirements. Test the code and ensure that the functionality of the developed component meets the requirements and conduct reviews. Participate in Agile meetings and translate application storyboard and use cases into functional applications and provide technical solutions. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate issues. Implement automated testing platforms using Junits / Mockito for Springboot and Jasmine tests for ReactJs. Implement Database solutions with any combination of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. Build and deploy code using Dev Ops tools GIT and Jenkins. Deploy code in PCF or AWS cloud in different environments.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and must have 3 years of experience in design and development of applications using Java, Springboot, Hibernet, JPA, web-services, and REST; 3 years of experience in writing JUnit Test cases; 1 year of experience in CI/CD using GIT Hub and Jenkins; 1 year of experience with SQL and any combination of relational Databases; and 1 year of experience in using any combination of AWS, Azure or PCF technologies for deployment. Experience may be gained in any occupation that includes the required experience and skills. This is a hybrid position. May work from home within commuting distance to office and/or worksite location. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated worksites throughout the United States is required.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
- Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
- Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
- Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
