Job description

Bookkeeping and Accounting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including income and expense tracking, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.

 
Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions. Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Invoicing and Payments:

 Generate and distribute invoices to clients in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.

 
Manage payment schedules and follow up on overdue accounts to maintain positive cash flow.

Financial Reporting:

 Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.

 
Provide detailed financial reports to management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Payroll Management:

 
Process payroll on a regular schedule, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.

 
Maintain payroll records and address any payroll inquiries.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

 Assist in creating and monitoring budgets, providing insights into spending trends and identifying areas for cost savings.

 Prepare cash flow projections and track actual performance against budget.

Compliance and Auditing:

 Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and company policies.

 Support external audits by providing required documentation and answering auditor inquiries.

Other Duties:

 Maintain and organize financial records for easy access and retrieval.

 Support other finance-related tasks as needed, including supporting management with ad-hoc financial analysis.
