About the role
The Zillow Group Legal and Compliance team is looking for a paralegal to join our corporate and securities team. This position will perform a variety of duties to provide assistance on projects and initiatives within the fast-paced legal and compliance department. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Act as first point of contact within the legal team with respect to internal inquiries for corporate entity information, updates to letters of authority and other standard due diligence requests.
First legal review of corporate information (legal names, office addresses, tax ID #s) included in due diligence and other documentation prepared by internal business partners.
Compilation and management of data rooms and knowledge management systems including corporate and team trackers.
Assist with the management, preparation and filing of corporate governance materials, including entity formations, foreign qualifications, powers of attorney, trade name applications, and maintenance and dissolution documentation.
Assist with management, preparation and filing of business license applications and renewals.
Prepare initial drafts of standard corporate resolutions.
Arrange and manage signing logistics, including but not limited to Docusign and notary appointments.
General administrative support within the legal department, as needed (presentation assistance, calendar assistance, routing issues/mail to appropriate parties).
Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff and management, and, as needed, with client leadership and personnel. Understand and anticipate departmental needs and corporate matters; delivering high quality service and results.
Implementation (with attorney oversight) of company’s UCC lien notice procedures, including conducting internal investigations.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $35.90 - $57.30 Hourly. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Qualifications
1-2 years of corporate paralegal experience or 3-4 years of experience as a legal assistant or equivalent legal administrative role looking to expand responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Fluency in written and spoken Spanish preferred
Experience with exposure to confidential information and an understanding of the importance of maintaining such confidentiality including legal and financial information.
Strong knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
