The QA Analyst is responsible for identifying high-level test scenarios, writing test scripts, manually executing test scripts, reporting and tracking the resolution of anomalies. In addition, he/she is responsible for carrying out all QA-related tasks in accordance with defined standards and procedures, and executing them in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with Functional Leads, Business Analysts, Solution Designers or Developers to have a clear understanding of the testing scope
- Analyze technical documents to identify high-level test scenarios
- Apply structured testing techniques to develop positive and negative test cases
- Develops and executes test scripts by identifying expected results and corresponding test data, captures actual results, and reports anomalies
- Maintain the test suite up to date based on newly added or change in existing functionalities
Requirements
- University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or finance;
- Minimum 4 years' experience in an appropriate field;
- Experience in Canadian and/or American pension plans;
- Experience verifying complex pension plan calculations;
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as knowledge of technology and communications;
- Previous experience with Azure DevOps would be an asset;
- Demonstrated attention to detail;
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently;
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English;
