THE OPPORTUNITY
Within Aeroflow, the Lactation and Perinatal Education Provider Group is comprised of six teams and 50 providers.
- Our department cares for patients through appointments and classes.
- Our patients are pregnant mothers who plan to breastfeed and postpartum mothers who are breastfeeding.
- Providing education and care through a virtual platform increases rates of breastfeeding and improves parent satisfaction in their experience.
- Joining our department allows you to play a role in preparing the next generation of parents in how to gently respond to and care for their babies.
- This is a work from home position, and you must be in your home state while working at all times.

YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
We are currently seeking an RD who is typically responsible for:
- Clinical Guidance to Aeroflow Patients

- Teaching classes and creating an active roster of Aeroflow patients for one-on-one appointments while providing high quality, skilled clinical care.
- Charting visits and maintaining accurate records according to payor requirements, per guidelines provided by Aeroflow.
- Supporting and advocating for the normal physiologic functions involved in the maternal-infant process.
- Providing patients evidence-based clinical information following the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine Protocols and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Position Papers.
- Team Participation and Collaboration
- Attending one monthly team administrative meeting and one monthly clinical meeting that may fall outside of the hours of your shift
- Other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
- Maintaining Licenses and Certifications
- Enhancing personal professional development by participating in clinical courses, workshops and exams and keeping apprised of current clinical literature.
- Keeping your provider databases and continuing education up-to-date.
- HIPAA and Compliance
- Maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.
- Individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
- Compliance which is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance.
SKILLS FOR SUCCESS
- Prior Experience: 2+ years of dietician experience in private practice or nutrition clinic; employment history illustrating stability, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Communication: Proactively seeks clarification in order to accurately and efficiently complete tasks and offers valuable insights while collaborating with positivity and enthusiasm
- Time Management: Proven ability to assess circumstances, problem solve, pivot activities as needed, and work both independently and in a team environment
- Editing Skills: Proficiency to edit written information with consistent formatting, meticulous attention to detail, and avoiding redundancy of information while keeping information updated; 50 WPM typing speed
- Organizational Skills: Adeptness at prioritizing and managing multiples tasks effectively in face-paced environment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Licenses and Certifications

- Registered dietician certification (and license if applicable in your state)
- Has or is willing to obtain an NPI with the primary taxonomy as registered dietician
- Must be willing to obtain licensure in all states requested by Aeroflow; Aeroflow will assist financially and administratively with obtaining any new licenses and credentials needed.
- Approved Work Environment:
- Must have adequate internet speed for remote work - 20 mbps upload speed for a wired connection or 30 mbps for a wireless connection
- Must have a private, professional work environment with a door that closes that is available for use during work hours
- Able to work during all work hours in your home state (not another state or country)
- Expertise:
- Stellar written and verbal communication
- Google Suite, Microsoft Office and Zoom proficiency.
POSITION TYPE
Part-time or Full time
- You must be able to work the same shift(s) on the same day(s) and time(s) each week ongoing. This job has a set schedule that cannot be changed.
- Preferred schedule is evening and weekend hours.

COMPENSATION: Hourly - Commensurate based on experience
