What You'll do:
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software using .NET elements used in client’s software stack
Translate requirements from User Stories into valuable, working software
Generate clear and maintainable documentation
Contribute to the culture and continuous improvement of an Agile team
Monitor monthly metrics to maintain system performance and identify trends that may require changes to the application.
Support responses to data calls and ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.
Writes manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures as needed.
Participates in development, testing and delivery of software products or components to maintain existing systems.
Develops detail program specifications and programs for these components.
Develops and tests interfaces between software products and products of other vendors.
Creates and tests modules and components for compliance to design specifications.
Participates in design and code reviews; addresses findings.
Who We are Looking For:
Looking for a .NET Developer to help deliver and maintain multiple web-based applications for our government client to request and receive information from various state entities. This information is required to be collected to meet federal regulations and mandates.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
Must be willing and able to work EST hours
6+ years of prior experience as a .NET Developer
Have demonstrated least 4 years of experience in development and implementation experience with the full life-cycle of implementations, including designing the overall application architectures artifacts and data model and code reviewing work of junior developers
Working knowledge of customer’s technology stack that includes:
Desktop Operating System: Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bitsServer
Operating System: Windows Server 2016
Web Server: Microsoft IIS v8.5, v10
Integrated Development Environment (IDE): Microsoft Visual Studio Enterprise 2015, and Microsoft Visual Studio Enterprise 2019
Development Framework: Microsoft .NET v4.7, Microsoft SilverLight v5
Version Control: Azure DevOpsWeb
Browsers: Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox
Database: Microsoft SQL Server 2017 and Oracle Database 19c
UI Extension: Telerik DevCraft Ultimate, SyncFusion Studio Enterprise
Business Intelligence: SAP Business Objects v4.2, SAP Crystal Reports v11 and Microsoft PowerBI
ETL: Adobe InDesign Desktop and Server CS 5.5, Adobe Creative Suite CS6 Design & Web Premium, Informatica Power Center, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services and BMC Control M v8.0
Experience with database technologies, team collaboration tools, e.g. JIRA, and deployment platforms, e.g. Jenkins or Git.
Working knowledge of the software development life cycle in general and Agile specifically
Preferred Experience:
Department of Transportation (DOT) experience
Geographic information system (GIS), specifically ArcGIS Desktop and Server v10.6, Safe FME Desktop and Server 2019
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps
Prior experience with Java
Knowledge and experience with implementation and management of Azure Cloud
Knowledge and experience with Okta

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$97,950.00 - $137,706.00
