Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field, Two to four years of communications experience in a non-profit setting, At least six years of progressive experience in public relations if no degree, Strong knowledge of media relations and external communications, Experience with policy statements and audience-specific content development.

- Lead media relations and develop communication materials
- Coordinate media training and support messaging consistency
- Build relationships with donors and agencies for image enhancement
- Monitor media coverage and provide analytic reports
- Promote NSC initiatives through interviews and press events
