The IT Solution Delivery Analyst is responsible for leading and facilitating activities to analyze, define, and document requirements, and working with the application development team to create technology solutions. Participates in developing and maintaining detailed knowledge of the business's current technology and infrastructure from a functional perspective. Provides guidance concerning business implications of development projects. Serves as consultant to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results. Involved in testing, training and implementation of applications. Assists, and at times, may lead clients and technical staff to investigate, analyze, and resolve application problems related to system functions.
The Solution Delivery Analyst is often the first point of contact for user support and problem solving; frequently interfaced with business lines, including management, and/or internal resources to ensure quality, timeliness, and testing of all project/release work. In this role, routine projects may need to be managed. Works with technology and application development teams to design or select solutions that appropriately meet the business needs for large projects. Reviews and validates test plan approaches for proper functionality coverage.

PRIMARY TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES /ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Collaborate with customers to define the business requirements to meet the users’ needs, with proven ability to conduct one-on-one, small and large group interviews on technology and system concepts.
• Meet with end users to determine needs, research options and provide recommendations.
• Participate in defining system integration and user-acceptance test plans.
• Assist with the analysis of bug fixes/ issues with ability to lead small groups of IT and business employees for troubleshooting, problem resolution and brainstorming initiatives though analysis of available solutions.
• Partner with the business areas in the creation of process workflow documentation such as user manuals and use cases.
• Execute client communication including various written communications, one-on-one client conversations, large group presentations, and assist with orientation and training to end users for modified and new systems.
• Provide expertise and collaborate with the business units, IT leaders, IT project teams, and IT support teams, on day-to-day work and new IT project initiatives.
• Work with application support and IT development teams to fix software bugs and escalate issues when needed.
• Creates complex test case scenarios to be used in testing; monitors/oversees the testing of business applications to verify that all client requirements are incorporated into the system design.
• Clarify requirements issues and proposes solutions.
• Gather, Analyze and document client complex business requirements and processes for new development and/or enhancements across multiple functional areas and development environments for high complexity functionality in mission critical initiatives. Communicates these requirements to appropriate parties.
• Uses a relatively high level of analytical and creative thinking to proactively identify and solve complex problems related to processes, procedures, and/or application functionality.
• Participates with Quality Management in development of use cases and performs periodic reviews of projects.
• Performs smoke testing in different environments to confirm changes have been successfully deployed.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Prioritizes and manages multiple tickets when assigned.
• May manage routine, small to medium sized projects.
• Other activities, as assigned.
