Job description

This is a remote role with 4 visits per month at our Hamilton, NJ office.

Job title: IME Scheduler

Location: Remote (4 visits per month to our Hamilton NJ Office)

Become part of a team providing excellent customer service and assisting injured parties with the scheduling and coordination of physical examinations and other needed ancillary services

Duties Include:

  • Intake of IME and Peer Review Requests
  • Scheduling Examinations and services through the MyMedlogix proprietary software.
  • Coordinate with Physicians, claimants and attorneys to facilitate the examination.
  • Take appropriate steps to handle any cancellation, reschedules or re-evaluations.   
  • Communicate with the adjusters via email and phone as well as thru our MyMedlogix proprietary software.
  • Prepare and distribute Exam Notification letters.
  • Handle phone calls and provide excellent customer service to patients, attorneys and adjusters with any questions about their examination.

Other job duties include:

  • Document the MyMedlogix system with notes when and where appropriate.
  • Document client portal with notes and upload documents where appropriate.
  • When required, request pre-payment for services via the finance department.
  • Coordinates ancillary services such as interpretation, transportation when requested and approved by the adjuster.  
  • Coordinates depositions/testimony with physician offices and client attorney.
  • Attempt to reschedule services upon notice and when appropriate.
  • Handles and responds promptly to incoming calls, emails, bulletin board messages or faxes from physicians or clients requesting report status and/or information.

Requirements

  • Prior experience scheduling appointments, preferably in the medical field, is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a Physician’s office is a plus.
  • Customer Service experience.
  • High School Diploma.
