Position Overview

GCPay, a leading software platform and part of Autodesk, is revolutionizing the construction industry by streamlining the payment application process between general contractors and subcontractors. This cloud-based solution enhances payment efficiency and reduces errors, helping construction companies better manage their cash flow. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in engaging with prospective customers and generating new sales opportunities. This position serves as the first point of contact, allowing you to create a strong impression of GCPay while qualifying leads for the Account Executive team. Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries from prospective customers through email, chat, and phone calls
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs, pain points, and level of interest in GCPay
  • Educate prospects on GCPay's features and value proposition to guide them through the sales process
  • Schedule meetings for the Account Executives to close deals
  • Continuously build and maintain a pipeline of leads, ensuring consistent follow-up and outreach
  • Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly outreach targets, including calls, emails, and meetings booked
  • Keep detailed notes and records of interactions with prospects in the CRM, ensuring data integrity and proper tracking of leads
  • Participate in team meetings, share insights, and collaborate on improving the outbound strategy

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in a business development or sales role, ideally in SaaS or construction tech
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A positive, solution-oriented mindset

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $67,200 and $97,240. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
