The Opportunity:

The Sr. Global Revenue Cycle Strategies Analyst works directly with all levels of Ensemble leadership to facilitate business decision making and leading long-term Strategic Ensemble initiatives. In addition to operational leadership this role will work closely with executive leadership, playing an interictal role in developing and maintaining the overall reporting and monitoring strategy for our global vendor partnerships.

A key responsibility in this role is support of Ensemble Vendor teams and alignment of the overall revenue cycle processes between onshore and offshore teams. The Analyst is knowledgeable in entire revenue cycle, including but not limited to; pre-service/pre-access, authorization, billing, follow-up and denials, coding, compliance, and business office functions for both Acute and Physician service lines.

This position facilitates the capture, flow, and monitoring of Ensemble’s key initiatives, develops initiative tracking and trending tools for management and establishes goals/objectives. With some supervision, maintains communication with project stakeholders and ensures responsible parties meet project deadlines. Requires sound judgement, critical thinking, and independent decision making.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for Vendor and operational engagement to include the following but not limited to:

  • Developing global strategy reporting and monitoring tools across functional areas
  • Develop and maintain mechanisms to allow visibility for executive leadership on overall performance and KPIs related to Global Vendor activities
  • Collaborate with Ensemble and Vendor leadership to ensure accurate and standardized data is utilized to measure success of our Global Vendor partnerships
  • Development and support of Vendor onboarding analytics across functional areas
  • Ongoing liaison support
  • Performance and Quality Monitoring (SLAs to measure depending on functional area)
  • Support Client Process/workflow documentation in relation to the utilization of revenue cycle vendors
  • Support of Vendors post go-live – analytics and reporting
  • Analyze financial and business performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable Management to determine progress against strategic plans
  • Identify and report financial/operational opportunities and cost savings measures
  • Ensure effective monitoring and reporting controls are in place to improve performance
  • Evaluation of current processes and tools and propose changes in order to drive efficiencies within the organization
  • Coordinate operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans with creating efficiencies within our current state processes
  • Maintain project plans to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project resources
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on-time, within scope and all barriers are communicated to the appropriate parties
  • Establish and maintain interdepartmental relationships with stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress

  • Prepare proformas regarding changes in service lines and/or staffing structure
  • Anticipates executive leadership needs by gathering records, reports, data and correspondence for accurate reporting
  • Informs executive leadership of potential operational problems after analysis of data
  • Prepares various documents and handles confidential matters in accordance with SSC policies and procedures
  • Provides ad hoc reporting for when requested
  • Coordinates and plans team meetings and special training sessions
  • Analyzes variances and trends to identify problems and/ or trends
  • Maintains HIPAA and patient confidentiality training
  • Responsible for verification of the accuracy of the data being reported
  • Work is performed under tight deadlines
