Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Data Architect is responsible for the end-to-end delivery, guidance, and strategy for integration solutions across the enterprise, within the organization's regulatory, architectural, cybersecurity, and governance frameworks. This role requires collaboration with management and clients to understand complex business problems and derive technical solutions. The Sr. Integration Tech Lead also works closely with developers to ensure accurate requirement capture and provides feedback on their code.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily tasks for developers, ensuring deadlines are met, code meets standards, and issues are resolved. Step in for development coding if needed.
• Monitor and review the quality of developers' work, ensuring adherence to best practices and company standards.
• Ensure that developed solutions meet business, performance, and volume requirements.
• Validate and perform end-to-end testing with developers.
• Research and conduct POCs (Proof of Concepts) to test technical solutions.
• Assist developers with issues, ensuring the integration team avoids blockers and remains on track. Perform development tasks when necessary.
• Support deployment and administrative tasks for developers.
• Ensure artifacts are production-ready, including logging, alerts, retries, ticket raising, and resolution.
• Provide production hypercare support.
  
  

Experience

• 5-10 years of experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
• Strong understanding of database management systems.
• Experience with data modeling and design tools.
• Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Senior Technical Lead experience (leading small development teams).
• Ability to understand and communicate functional documentation and requirements to project teams.
• Experience designing and developing APIs.
• Strong communication skills for technical and complex integration scenarios.
• Experience with cloud technologies for design and development.
• Prepared technical design documents, including process flows, sequence diagrams, ERDs, architectural/network diagrams, etc.
• Experience with Agile Delivery methodology.
• Proficient in using JIRA to manage stories, tasks, and issues.
• Experience with ERP transformation projects (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.), especially in an enterprise environment connecting systems like HR, DataLake, WorkDay, Salesforce.

• Configuration Management: Azure DevOps, ClearCase, Rational SCM
• Databases: Relational Databases, SQL, Stored Procedures, and Functions
• Familiar with DevOps (Azure, CI/CD, Code Repos, Git Repos, Branching)

Educaation

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (Engineering, Business, Education, Technical, Management, Information Systems, Finance, or Accounting).
  
  

Skill Requirements

• Data Modeling: Proficiency in creating and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Database Management: Expertise in working with various database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or others.
• Data Integration: Experience in designing and implementing data integration solutions. Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
• Data Governance and Quality: Ability to ensure data quality and implement data quality frameworks.
• Data Security: Knowledge of data security best practices and experience implementing data security measures.
• Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or others used for data manipulation and analysis.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
