About the Role:

Motive is looking for an Event Marketing Specialist to assist in the planning, coordination and management of various small to mid sized events. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management, working alongside a collaborative marketing team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and able to manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.

What You'll Do:
  • Event Support: Assist in the planning, organization, and management of events, such as national and user conferences, by supporting the senior team in all aspects of event logistics.
  • On-site Event Assistance: Help oversee logistics during the event, including registration, booth setup, and customer engagement, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for attendees and internal stakeholders. 
  • Event Communications: Draft event briefings and communications for internal teams and external stakeholders, both before and after the event.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external vendors to support project plans and ensure smooth coordination between all parties involved in the event.
  • Post-Event Support: Help gather and report on event performance by tracking key metrics like attendee feedback and lead generation. Assist in analyzing the results to offer insights for future events.
  • Budget Support: Assist in managing event budgets by ensuring tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining cost control and quality standards.
  • Vendor Coordination: Assist in coordinating with external vendors such as venues, catering, and production companies to meet event requirements.
What We're Looking For:
  • Recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Approximately 1 year of experience in marketing, event planning, or internships in related fields.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of event management and marketing principles.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative, proactive, and resourceful with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly interpersonal, capable of building trust and respect, and driven to succeed.
  • Must be willing to travel between 25-30%
Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The base compensation range for this role is:
$49,000$75,000 USD
