Want to help shape video strategy for one of the world’s leading marketing companies? HubSpot Media is seeking a creative and dynamic business professional to join us as a Producer/Host. In this role, you'll create and deliver engaging short-form and long-form content for our YouTube channels focused on entrepreneurship, sales, and general business. You'll be part of a small, energetic team responsible for producing, recording, appearing in, and editing video content.

HubSpot Media’s stories reach 50 million people every month through such popular franchises as The Hustle, My First Million, and Marketing Against the Grain. Our team is made up of some of the country’s top journalists, including an Online News Award-winning writer, the author of two bestselling books, and writers who have optioned numerous stories for film and TV.

You Will:

  • Research and write stories with unique POV’s in the sales/entrepreneurship niche
  • Develop creative pitches and concepts for shows and series
  • Be on camera and share information effectively
  • Meet deadlines
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating with the NYC team
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and work with the HubSpot Media team locally and internationally
  • Experiment with and analyze video performance to drive virality and innovation
  • Stay updated on internet trends and adapt content accordingly

We are looking for people who have:

  • Proven experience creating video content (portfolio/showreel required)
  • Ability to produce end-to-end video content remotely (equipment provided)
  • Strong time management skills for brainstorming, shooting, and editing
  • Experience with comedic and real-person content
  • Background in business and entrepreneurial content
  • Enthusiasm for all aspects of video creation, including on-camera presence
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in teams
  • Journalism experience 

Bonus Qualities:

  • Editing experience
  • Experience launching successful YouTube series and channels
  • Personal experience growing a YouTube audience
  • An understanding of the latest algorithmic trends across YouTube, TikTok, and Meta platforms

Cash compensation range: 92000-138000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
