Job description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Executive to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key clients, and selling cutting-edge automotive logistics and software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the automotive and trucking industries, a proven track record in B2B sales, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.

Location: Remote, must reside Central or Eastern time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and generate new business leads within the trucking, fleet management, and automotive sectors, including OEMs, dealerships, and rental companies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to deeply understand their business needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the client's services and solutions, showcasing the value they bring to clients in the automotive and trucking industries.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through strategic selling, effective pipeline management, and successful negotiation.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and potential new opportunities.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the automotive, trucking, or fleet management industries.
  • Strong understanding of automotive logistics, dealership operations, or fleet management.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in an unstructured, start-up environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Extensive networking connections within the trucking and fleet business.
  • Knowledge of SaaS sales and the ability to be creative in the sales process.
  • Capacity to conduct thorough customer needs analysis.
