Job Overview

We are seeking a committed and skilled Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dynamic remote team. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential therapeutic services to individuals navigating mental health challenges through telehealth technology. As an integral member of our collaborative interdisciplinary team, you will deliver compassionate care and support, empowering clients to adopt holistic strategies for their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver remote counseling and crisis intervention to patients, assessing and addressing emotional and behavioral concerns through virtual platforms.
  • Collaborate with family members and support networks via telecommunication to discuss treatment and discharge planning for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians online to provide updates on patient progress, needs, concerns, and any potential or existing issues.
  • Maintain accurate and timely digital documentation, including clinical notes and progress reports, in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Work closely with remote healthcare team members to formulate treatment plans and discharge strategies based on psychosocial evaluations and established social work interventions.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in a range of empirically supported psychotherapy methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
  • A strong dedication to delivering exceptional client care and utilizing client feedback to refine services.
  • Excellent active listening skills and the capability to tailor treatment plans according to client needs.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Professional Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Active California state licensure as an LPCC.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient environment.
