About the Role

A mining industry professional is seeking a mid-level video editor to create an engaging montage from existing footage documenting workplace activities, environment, and team dynamics at a British Columbia mining facility. The project aims to blend professional and lighthearted moments into a cohesive narrative that showcases the unique aspects of industrial maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and organise provided footage
• Create a compelling narrative flow from diverse video clips
• Edit footage to maintain viewer engagement
• Add appropriate transitions and effects
• Include basic color correction and audio balancing

Requirements

• Proven experience as a video editor (3+ years preferred)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating montage/compilation work
• Proficiency with professional editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
• Experience working with diverse footage types
• Understanding of narrative pacing and storytelling
