Job description

Range Manager

Key Role:

Coordinate all activities within an assigned training range for an Army client. Conduct daily operations related to training. Organize and coordinate training area usage. Ensure users of the site have a designated range safety officer. Maintain physical security of assigned buildings, bunkers, and equipment. Support entities with storage and logistics of systems or equipment. Coordinate shipment of test materials. Prepare and submit monthly reports.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience managing daily operations of an Army test or training range
  • Experience managing and maintaining government equipment
  • Knowledge of Army Regulation (AR) 385-10 and AR 385-63
  • Ability to maintain accurate and complete records of operations and equipment
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Army regulations regarding range operations and safety
  • Knowledge of shipping, visitor, and property management procedures
  • Completion of an Instructor Training Course

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,900.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
