This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 20 hours per week
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Flexible time, ideally 7 hours for 2 days and 6 hours for 1 day.

Job Description

As a Social Media Specialist, you’ll dive into a role that blends creativity with strategic thinking. You’ll be the driving force behind our client’s social media evolution, crafting engaging content that spans multiple businesses while maintaining a cohesive brand voice. Your days will be filled with video editing, content scheduling, and template creation, primarily using tools like Canva and collaborating through OneDrive. You’ll have the exciting opportunity to shape the online presence of a growing company, potentially expanding into YouTube content creation and other digital marketing avenues. This role offers the perfect blend of creative freedom and strategic implementation, ideal for a social media enthusiast looking to make a significant impact.


Responsibilities:

• Create and edit on-brand social media content, including short videos, reels, and TikToks

• Manage content scheduling across multiple social media platforms

• Edit raw video footage provided by the company for various social media uses

• Design graphics using Canva for social media posts and templates

• Populate templates for secondary business social media accounts

• Assist in creating content for YouTube channel

• Maintain consistent branding across all social media accounts

• Collaborate with the team to implement social media strategies

 

Requirements:

• Proven experience in social media content creation and management

• Proficiency in video editing software and Canva

• Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices
