Job description

This is a remote position.

About the Position

This is a part-time hybrid position based in Mexico City (CDMX) only.

We are looking for a Junior-Mid level IT specialist with experience to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining hardware and software systems, and assisting with the implementation of IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.




Requirements

Key activities:

·       Computer Systems Technician or similar career.

·       Knowledge of LAN and WAN networks as well as the equipment that makes them up.

·       English 60% spoken and written.

·       In charge of keeping the networks and computer equipment up and running, as well as all the necessary infrastructure.

·       Capable of implementing the technology changes that are requested & indicated.

 

Printers:

·       Check the status of the printers, keep the paper trays with enough paper.

·       Review of consumables and maintain stock of available consumables (paper, toner, etc.).

·       Have current maintenance contracts.

·       Add printers to users' computers when required.

 

Computers:

·       Support for small user doubts, in case of a greater incident help users to raise tickets in Service Now and give follow up.

·       Institutional software, request installation via technical support ticket.

·       Mapping server drives (shared drives).

·       Prepare and build new laptops.

 

Site:

·       Temperature check

·       Check indicator lights for any anomaly.

·       Dedicated and internet links, in case of any anomaly, raise a ticket with the provider and follow up.
