Location: Warren, NJ (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days working remotely)

Join the Everest 2025 Summer Internship Program! This is an exciting opportunity to receive exposure to the world of Property & Casualty Reinsurance and Insurance through dynamic training, firsthand business experience, and networking with the industry’s leading experts and experienced professionals. Throughout the Program, you can expect to build upon the academic foundations you have established at school and apply your learning to real world scenarios.

The Program will run for 10 weeks: June 2 – August 8, 2025

Your Impact & Opportunity 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support reporting of vendor risk results, issues, and other metrics
  • Assist in Supply Strategy Development: Support the team in formulating competitive supply strategies that enhance resilience and cost-effectiveness for various goods and services.
  • Supplier Relationship Support: Help maintain relationships with suppliers by assisting in communication and coordination efforts, contributing to risk minimization and alignment with business objectives.
  • Performance Analysis: Participate in monitoring and evaluating supplier performance, gathering data and insights to ensure consistency in service delivery and identify areas for improvement.
  • Procurement Operations Assistance: Collaborate with the Procurement Operations team to learn about sourcing processes, analytics, and tools (such as PSM, CMS, and Oracle), gaining hands-on experience in procurement activities.
  • Technology Vendor Management Exposure: Engage with the Global Technology Vendor Management & Sourcing team to understand best practices in managing technology spend and vendor relationships, focusing on competitive pricing and risk optimization.

What You Bring: Experience & Qualifications 

  • You are a sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university, majoring in Risk Management, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Mnagement, Statistics, or related field.
  • Possess basic knowledge of data preparation and analysis.
  • Passionate about assessing risk. Eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office software, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).  
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.  
  • Effectively manage priorities and be attentive to details and deadlines.
