Position: Project Manager - Manufacturing & Supply Chain - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

As a Project Manager at a leading construction equipment manufacturer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing tool crib operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This 12-month contract position presents a unique opportunity to leverage your project management skills and data analysis expertise to drive significant improvements in process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis using tools such as Excel to manage extensive inventories (30,000+ parts).
  • Implement data-driven strategies to enhance tool storage solutions, facilitating easier access for the team.
  • Provide leadership and support to the crib team, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and within established timelines.
  • Engage in various projects aimed at refining processes and boosting operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with crib attendants, management, and suppliers to cultivate a productive and positive work atmosphere.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in Excel, particularly in utilizing PivotTables and VLookups for data analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead by example.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving capabilities and a strong work ethic, coupled with a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification, with training available if necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in leading or managing teams in a warehouse or industrial setting (internships included).
