Job Overview

As a Sales Consultant specializing in renewable energy, you will have a remarkable chance to promote solar technology within residential communities, engaging directly with homeowners to communicate the advantages of solar energy. This full-time, in-person opportunity is tailored for proactive individuals passionate about sustainability and dedicated to assisting others. Please note that this role requires direct client interaction and is not available as a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target residential markets that could benefit from solar energy solutions.
  • Conduct door-to-door sales, educating homeowners on how solar technology can lower energy costs and reduce their carbon footprints.
  • Develop and present customized sales presentations that highlight the value and benefits of solar energy to potential clients.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements, government incentives, and available rebates to enhance client consultations.
  • Follow up with leads generated by the marketing team, scheduling consultations, and performing on-site assessments.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring that both client needs and company targets are met.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns clients may have post-installation.
  • Achieve individual sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the team.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to enhance sales techniques and knowledge of products.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in direct sales; experience in renewable energy or solar products is an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade potential customers.
  • Self-motivated and driven to excel in a competitive market environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
