We are searching for a talented Actuarial Associate I to become an integral part of our Actuarial Department, where you will support key activities in reserving, ratemaking, business intelligence, and special projects to ensure the adequacy of rates and reserves through the application of actuarial methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and verify data provided by the Information Technology (IT) department to prepare ratemaking and reserving assessments.
  • Assist in the development of data and reports for various special initiatives.
  • Maintain templates utilized for ratemaking, reserving, and modeling purposes.
  • Clearly and concisely document ratemaking and reserving methods and activities.
  • Dedicate yourself to passing at least one actuarial exam each year as part of your professional development.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with database management.
  • Effective communication and rapport-building skills.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field, or a minimum of 2 years of actuarial work experience.
  • Successful completion of at least one actuarial examination.
