Job Overview

We are looking for a committed Project Manager to become a key member of our Manufacturing & Supply Chain team. This position involves overseeing the tool crib operations, enhancing storage efficiency for parts, and providing guidance to the crib team in their daily functions. The role requires a balance of desk-based responsibilities and active engagement on the shop floor, supporting crib attendants in the successful execution of various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee tool crib operations to ensure optimal storage and availability of parts and supplies.
  • Lead the crib team in their daily operations and task management.
  • Conduct data analysis and generate reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and management, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace.
  • Engage professionally with suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects to adhere to deadlines.
  • Operate a forklift occasionally (certification required).

Required Skills

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP and template creation.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint for creating presentations.
  • Strong written communication skills with excellent spelling and grammar.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient note-taking abilities during meetings.
  • Capability to work harmoniously with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Professional communication skills when dealing with suppliers.
  • Ability to identify and escalate issues to management as necessary.
  • Highly organized with strong task prioritization skills.
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse or industrial supply chain operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • 2-4 years of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse or industrial environment (internships will be taken into account).
