In your role as the IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our advanced technological infrastructure while assisting non-technical colleagues, ultimately enhancing the quality of services we offer to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical support expert for all IT-related inquiries, ensuring prompt resolution of support tickets.
  • Collaborate with IT Consultants and the Leadership team to advance project completion and streamline IT operations.
  • Standardize platforms, implement a centralized command structure, and enhance the utilization of remote and mobile technology.
  • Facilitate account setups, email configurations, and network configurations for team members.
  • Undertake research and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues, providing clear guidance to team members.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of issues and solutions, ensuring proper tracking until resolution.
  • Provide feedback to enhance team knowledge and improve IT processes.
  • Conduct follow-ups to confirm the full functionality of IT systems post-troubleshooting.

Required Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of networks (LAN, WAN, Security) and telecommunications (voice, data, video).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and familiarity with Windows OS, iOS, and mobile devices.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities with a strategic problem-solving approach.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software (e.g., ConnectWise, Fresh Service).
  • Knowledge of data security, system applications, and integrity processes.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in IT support roles is required.
  • Certifications in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, or similar technologies are advantageous.
  • Previous experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, or IT Help Desk Technician is preferred.
