Job Overview

Join our forward-thinking AI & Threat Analytics team as a Machine Learning Data Analyst, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping our autofill classification models. This fully remote position also offers a hybrid work schedule option for candidates located in the El Dorado Hills, CA, or Chicago, IL metro areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the comprehensive lifecycle of data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing for datasets utilized in machine learning applications.
  • Utilize web analysis tools to extract and structure data from DOM environments for model training and validation.
  • Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers to facilitate feature engineering experiments and produce high-quality training datasets.
  • Generate synthetic datasets leveraging large language models (LLMs) to optimize the balance and availability of training data.
  • Conduct data analysis utilizing dimensionality reduction techniques to uncover feature strengths and improve dataset quality.
  • Automate data workflows to enhance the efficiency of data processing and manipulation.
  • Develop and maintain thorough documentation of data workflows and methodologies to ensure data integrity and reproducibility.
  • Establish validation systems and data quality checks to ensure consistency across all datasets.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in Python for data manipulation and analysis, utilizing libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
  • Strong background in web analysis tools (e.g., Selenium, BeautifulSoup) with a sound understanding of HTML and DOM structures.
  • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques, including tokenization and lemmatization.
  • Experience generating synthetic datasets and utilizing LLMs to enhance machine learning data.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with machine learning engineers and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to data quality.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for data storage and processing.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within a cybersecurity or machine learning context.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • US Person status is required due to the role's involvement in GovCloud projects.
