Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. This pivotal role involves delivering comprehensive financial analyses within a rapidly evolving data landscape. You will work closely with various departments to derive insights that shape strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Population Health departments, including Finance, Risk Management, Clinical Services, Quality/STARs, and Provider Relations, to analyze and visualize financial data.
  • Enhance reporting tools and develop impactful insights related to operational and financial efficiencies.
  • Manage and lead a high-performance team in the extraction and analysis of data, identifying patterns and trends critical for effective decision-making.
  • Foster close relationships with the Finance Team to improve understanding and accessibility of financial data.
  • Analyze financial metrics and connect them to contract structures and value-based dynamics.
  • Design and develop reporting capabilities and dashboards that provide clear insights into population health financial metrics.
  • Document procedures and maintain workflows to ensure continuity and efficiency within the analytic processes.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL, with experience in analytical databases, data warehouses, or data lakes.
  • Expertise in business intelligence tools, such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical abilities, particularly in data interpretation and visualization.
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or a relevant field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare value-based metrics and financial algorithms is advantageous.
