We are looking for a motivated and talented intern to join our team and assist in the development of a Proof of Concept (PoC) for a Static Application Security Testing (SAST) dashboard. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with security tools and dashboard development while contributing to real-world projects.
This internship will be remote during summer 2025.
Your Impact:
- Collaborate with the product security team to design, develop, and maintain a SAST dashboard for monitoring and visualizing security metrics.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of security tools such as Fortify SSC, SonarQube, and Snyk, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Work on setting up data ingestion pipelines for security scan data from various SAST tools into the dashboard.
- Participate in the creation of custom queries and visualizations to provide actionable insights for various stakeholders.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dashboard performance and data accuracy.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference.
Experience and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity or interest in learning cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Basic understanding and usage of cybersecurity concepts like SAST and DAST.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, additionally having hands-on programming skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools.
- Prior experience with setting up and managing dashboards in a professional or academic setting.
