Job Description:

ORTEMS is a technology available from Dassault Systemes that coordinates and controls production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing process. We are looking for an experienced Ortems Solution Architect to lead and manage Ortems implementation and optimization for Aerospace & Defense clients. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and significant expertise in Ortems. As the Solution Architect, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver tailored planning and scheduling solutions that align with strategic objectives in manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Ortems Solution Design & Implementation:

·         Develop and implement comprehensive Ortems solutions to meet client-specific production scheduling and planning requirements.

·         Work alongside engineering, supply chain, and production teams to design scalable Ortems architectures, ensuring efficiency and seamless integration with PLM systems.

·         Customize Ortems modules for Aerospace & Defense manufacturing environments, focusing on optimized scheduling, production flow, and resource allocation.

·         Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering:

·         Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders to gather requirements, understand operational challenges, and identify opportunities for optimization.

·         Conduct workshops, presentations, and demos to showcase Ortems capabilities and proposed solutions.

·         Translate client requirements into actionable Ortems configurations, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client objectives.

·         Cross-functional Collaboration:

·         Collaborate with teams across engineering, supply chain, IT, and business units to support successful Ortems deployment.

·         Ensure integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES, PLM) to enhance data flow, transparency, and reporting.

·         Project Management & Delivery:

·         Oversee end-to-end project management for Ortems implementations, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.

·         Utilize Agile project management methodologies to coordinate development and testing phases, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved.

·         Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and updates to ensure optimal Ortems performance and meet client expectations.

·         Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

·         Analyze existing workflows to identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement within Ortems implementations.

·         Incorporate the latest advancements in Ortems and PLM systems to enhance operational efficiency, reduce lead times, and meet Aerospace & Defense production demands.

·         Drive innovations such as predictive scheduling, real-time adjustments, and data analytics to maximize the impact of Ortems solutions.

Experience:

·         10-12 years of experience in PLM or manufacturing solutions, with a minimum of 3 years in Ortems solution architecture or related roles.

·         Demonstrated experience working with Aerospace & Defense clients and managing complex, large-scale Ortems implementations are desired.

Technical Skills:

·         Expertise in Ortems configuration, customization, and integration with PLM, ERP, and MES systems.

·         Knowledge of advanced scheduling, production planning, and resource management.

·         Familiarity with Agile methodologies, as well as experience leading cross-functional teams through iterative project phases.
