JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Penn State Office of General Education at University Park is seeking a part-time Digital Communications intern to work closely with General Education Scholars to manage web content management, grow the reach of news and information generated by the office and its scholars.
This can be a remote or hybrid position, available to students across the commonwealth, with an expectation for 1-5 flexible hours/week.
Job Duties:
Collaborate with Gen Ed Scholars on visual design and digital placement.
Research opportunities for promotional outlets across a variety of digital platforms.
Ensure all digital content is accurate, engaging, and meets deadlines.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, and the Penn State newswire, and other relevant information outlets.
Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, produce accurate work, and meet deadlines.
An ability to work independently and efficiently.
Familiarity with visual design and editing.
