Job description

*This position will be located near Champaign, Illinois or Bloomington, Illinois.

Essential Functions:

Assists team in preparation and application of surfaces to be painted and general cleanup of retail facilities throughout the region. Helps team accomplish daily production, quality and safety requirements. Installs interior graphic package such as vinyl wall covering and hanging signage. Performs regular maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment hoses and nozzles, using solvent, brushes, and cloths. Replaces screens and filters as required. Ensures all equipment is kept safe and in proper working condition. Follows safety guidelines and job requirements utilized in day-to-day operations. Must be able to receive and complete work orders via e-mail. Attends and participates in scheduled training and safety classes. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as required. Must promote a positive and safe work environment for the entire team. Must be able to follow state, federal and company guidelines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.  2-5 year’s retail painting experience preferred. Must possess basic computer skills. Experience in interior graphic installation or wall covering is desired. Must be able to use both conventional and airless spray systems. Possess valid drivers’ license and be insurable as a driver. Requires traveling to store locations throughout the Division business unit. This job may require out of town travel and overnight stays on occasion.
