KBR is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Project Control analysts with excellent analytical skills to grow with us in a direct hire capacity. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Cost Control, under the Program Planning and Control team. Applicant will be primarily responsible for Program Planning and Control analysis for various contract types and sizes, interacting with all levels of Project Management and colleagues in other functional areas/departments.
Roles and Responsibilities
Analyze cost trends to correct errors and provide forward guidance to maximize revenue and profit and minimize cost variances.
Develop and control baselines, budgets, and forecasts using program resource estimates with appropriately applied rates and factors.
Monitor schedule/milestones to facilitate estimates at complete (EAC) and process scope changes.
Prepare and deliver customer report deliverables per the contract terms and conditions.
Develop price/cost estimates utilizing complex pricing concepts and applications.
Develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), perform maintenance and charge number control.
Analyze program funding requirements and track subcontractor costs and vendor invoices.
Application of FAR, CAS and government accounting standards.
Perform unique and complex accounting and analytical tasks, including accruals, account reconciliation and balance sheet analysis.
Develop presentations and reports for internal and external customers.
Implement process improvement initiatives within the Finance/Program group.
Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures.
Develop and carry out long- and short-term objectives and balance multiple priorities.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex problems independently.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field and 7+ years in Project Controls or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of complex program management concepts (cost analysis, budgets, estimate to complete, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, charts, graphs, etc.
Experience working with T&M (Time & Materials) Government Programs.
Experience with standard government agency reporting requirements (DOD).
Cost Point, Cobra, Cognos, OnBase, Deltek, and WorkDay experience.
