Program Summary
KBR requires a Project Manager to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)/WLC, KC-46 Sustainment Branch.
Job Summary
This candidate will lead weapon systems acquisition activities. The candidate will provide expert guidance and recommendations that shape acquisition and sustainment strategies to the KC-46 Systems Program Office, including artifact development and senior leadership-level briefing preparation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop program documentation to support Request for Proposal, Milestone Decisions, and Acquisition Strategies (such as, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Depot Maintenance Activation Plan, commodities planning, ALC support planning).
- USAF weapon system management processes, policies, and procedures.
- Cost/schedule/technical execution.
- Risk, issue, opportunity management.
- Aircraft Availability analysis.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and a minimum of 10 years of experience in DoD weapon system management or
- Master's and a minimum of 6 years of experience in DoD weapon system management
- Knowledge and experience in DoD supply chain, logistics, and sustainment
- Candidate must possess the ability to work well as part of a team and with minimal supervision
- Ability to travel
- At least Secret security clearance (active)
Preferred Qualifications:
- ACAT I/II/III functions
- Problem solving
- Critical and creative thinking, conflict resolution, multi-tasking
- Clear and well-organized verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills and proficient with MS Office applications
