Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with team leaders to gain insight into role requirements and devise targeted recruitment strategies
- Build and foster a strong network of creative professionals and industry contacts
- Implement recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems to efficiently handle candidate information
- Lead the candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle, from initial outreach to final decision
- Conduct in-depth portfolio reviews to evaluate candidates’ technical skills and cultural fit
- Track design industry trends to ensure a competitive edge in talent acquisition
- Attend and leverage industry events, digital channels, and professional groups to source outstanding design talent
- Continually refine recruitment methodologies and establish best practices for streamlined hiring
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in design-focused recruitment or talent acquisition
- Strong aptitude for networking and cultivating professional relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human Resources, or a similar field preferred
- Experience in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, managing multiple recruitment initiatives simultaneously
- A background in the digital or creative industry is highly valued
- Skilled at reviewing portfolios with an understanding of design principles
- Professional certifications in recruitment or memberships within the design industry are advantageous
