Job description

Procon Consulting is seeking a Construction Administrator for a remote opportunity supporting the Veterans Affairs. The candidate will be supporting the staff in the management of the construction project and shall be required to perform the following services:

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage construction project documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.

Conduct detailed financial analysis, including monitoring project burn rates and cash flows, to track project financial health.

Develop, evaluate, and improve project cash flow models, optimizing allocation and forecasting for project success.

Collaborate on the creation and maintenance of risk matrices, identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation plans.

Support the budgeting and forecasting process through comprehensive analysis of project costs and financial data.

Develop and document operational processes, ensuring consistent improvement and streamlined workflows.

Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, translating complex technical data into actionable insights.

Evaluate business needs and align project deliverables with organizational goals and financial expectations.

Track project KPIs and develop reports to monitor progress, identify trends, and recommend adjustments as necessary.

Conduct process assessments, identifying and implementing opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Lead business analysis efforts, supporting decisions with data-driven insights and scenario planning.

Ensure compliance with project and financial governance standards, addressing any issues proactively to maintain project integrity.

Required Qualifications & Skills

BA or BS degree (in a construction, architecture, or engineering-related field preferred)

5+ years of experience in the construction management industry

Experience with business processes to include, risk matrix and mitigation, financial analysis (burn rate and cost curve analysis), and process improvement

Experience with Microsoft Office software; specifically the ability to create and edit Microsoft word and excel files

Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional to create and edit pdf documents
