Job description

Procon Consulting is seeking a Construction Administrator for a remote opportunity supporting the Veterans Affairs. The candidate will be supporting the staff in the management of the construction project and shall be required to perform the following services:

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage construction project documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including monitoring project burn rates and cash flows, to track project financial health.
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve project cash flow models, optimizing allocation and forecasting for project success.
  • Collaborate on the creation and maintenance of risk matrices, identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation plans.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process through comprehensive analysis of project costs and financial data.
  • Develop and document operational processes, ensuring consistent improvement and streamlined workflows.
  • Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, translating complex technical data into actionable insights.
  • Evaluate business needs and align project deliverables with organizational goals and financial expectations.
  • Track project KPIs and develop reports to monitor progress, identify trends, and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Conduct process assessments, identifying and implementing opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead business analysis efforts, supporting decisions with data-driven insights and scenario planning.
  • Ensure compliance with project and financial governance standards, addressing any issues proactively to maintain project integrity.

  • Required Qualifications & Skills
  • BA or BS degree (in a construction, architecture, or engineering-related field preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction management industry
  • Experience with business processes to include, risk matrix and mitigation, financial analysis (burn rate and cost curve analysis), and process improvement
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software; specifically the ability to create and edit Microsoft word and excel files
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional to create and edit pdf documents
