Instructure is looking for a high-performing Global Growth Product Manager to join our APAC team. This role will be based out of the Philippines.

Responsibilities: Regional Product Discovery and Strategy (40%)
  • Document, analyze and prioritize requirements across customers, prospects, and internal teams, communicating these to the global team
  • Own prioritization of regional needs across CX and Sales
  • Expert in user discovery and insight synthesis skills to inform business case development and relay core needs to global development teams
  • Partner with global product teams on discovery efforts including opportunity assessment definition, rapid experimentation and prototyping and validation with customers
  • Deep understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of our products in each region (e.g. win/loss insights, product sentiment, market and competitive landscape) 
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis 
  • Informed of relevant education trends, changing landscape and emerging needs
  • Subject matter expert in your respective region’s customer needs
  • Strong business case development to advocate for highest impact revenue opportunities
  • Contributor to annual regional business strategy including product line business planning and other strategic planning initiatives 

  • Partnership and Support for Regional Launch and Execution (30%)
  • Partner with internal teams, customers and user groups to identify market specific opportunities and inform product strategy
  • Support product marketing to ensure localized materials align to regional needs (pitch decks, case studies, webinars, battlecards, etc) 
  • Ensure successful product and feature release and launch communications with cross-functional teams and within respective markets
  • Support RFPs/Bids as needed to drive growth

  • Product Advocacy (30%)
  • Subject matter expert on our suite of products uses and benefits 
  • Represent the product team & communicate developments with internal and external stakeholders (product roadmap, timelines, discovery efforts, etc)
  • Public facing regional product representation in user groups, webinars, summits etc 

  • To excel in this position, you must have:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in product marketing or product management in the software industry or relevant role; B2B Cloud SaaS experience preferred
  • Self-starter who can create a vision, organize a plan and execute
  • Genuine curiosity to experiment and measure the impact
  • A willingness to fearlessly question assumptions and challenge the status quo
  • The ability to identify and reduce friction in the user experience
  • Strong analytical skills and be data-driven and methodical
  • Ability to influence and lead across diverse cross-functional teams and geographies
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively make a compelling business case when prioritizing initiatives and developing experiments
  • A deep knowledge of customers (e.g., Why do they use the product? What are their problems? What are the barriers to value?)
  • Ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces
  • Awareness of key trends influencing Higher Education and K12 markets
