The Principal Software Engineer’s primary responsibility is to analyze, design, develop and test the various functionalities of our web application. The Principal Software Engineer will work collaboratively with the Software Development Manager to improve product development and design. 


Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead a team of talented engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Technical Strategy: Develop and implement technical strategies that align with company goals and drive innovation.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Architecture and Design: Design scalable, robust, and secure architectures for our products and services.
  • Code Review and Development: Participate in code reviews, set coding standards, and contribute to the development of high-quality code.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and integrate them into our products where applicable.
  • Problem Solving: Address complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions to improve our systems and processes.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications and systems.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python), frameworks, and tools. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience in agile methodologies and a track record of delivering complex projects on time.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Continuous Learning: A passion for continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
