The role is to enable, facilitate and drive sales of Elekta Derma in the appointed Region(s).

The Sales Representative plays a key customer-facing role in driving sales specialist knowledge and professional skills. Working with the relevant stakeholders to achieve the budgeted objectives of orders for Elekta Derma and its associated products and services.

Create interest among dermatologists and Mohs surgeons to adopt our novel, non-surgical treatment option for non-melanoma skin cancer (Elekta Xoft Skin eBx) as a standard of care option.

Being well-versed in all currently available treatment options for NMSC, be able to create a paradigm shift among dermatologists and Mohs surgeons with respect to how they treat skin cancer.  Effectively sell the value proposition to those practices with the highest focus on skin cancer diagnosis for the turnkey service, known as the oncology-based skin cancer program.  Be able to communicate the value proposition for our radiation service providers’ Partnership Program. 

Work closely with the Director of U.S. DermaSales, our Derma radiation service providers and the Brachy Business Line to identify, create interest for Skin eBx and close dermatologists and Mohs surgeons, and to offer our highly effective non-surgical solution to their patients. Drive sales for Elekta Xoft Skin eBx Controllers, applicators and supplies to be purchased by our radiation service providers and placed within the dermatologists and Mohs surgeons offices as part of our radiation service providers’ Partnership Program.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the successful execution of the sales plan and strategy for Derma solutions
  • Provide input regarding regional promotional requirements for Xoft Derma solutions
  • Generate leads (hunter) and  follow up on leads generated via events, nurturing campaigns, etc to get dermatologist to sign up with our Derma providers to treat patients with skin cancer.
  • Collect, compile and drive budgets, forecast, funnel and identify new sales opportunities to meet AOP.
  • Drive and support the commercialization process in the region, collaborate on catalogue implementation and execution.
  • Conduct periodical activity reporting
  • Deliver product and sales pitch presentations, either alone or in collaboration with our Derma service providers
  • Review and support the full utilization and adoption of CLM in the relevant geography.
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and follow quality procedures in line with company policy and industry regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Drive business expansion/collaboration opportunities with accounts -  Dermatology - and Mohs surgery clinics across United States  and providers that treat non-melanoma skin cancer patients.
  • Develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the U.S.
  • Structure detailed strategic plans for bringing our non-surgical option to this market segment.
  • Collaborate with internal commercial and product teams to develop go-to-market strategies, refine the sales efforts, and support the development of resources for the dermatology-focused team.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Director of U.S. Derma Sales and our radiation service providers to ensure successful attainment of company goals and objectives.
  • Identify and develop partnering opportunities with prospective disease-management dermatologists and Mohs surgeons.
  • Promote and drive physician adoption for offering our non-surgical treatment option.
  • Continually analyse competitive landscape and environment within assigned accounts to determine trends and provide customer feedback to Elekta leadership.
  • Monitor performance of sales to ensure objectives are met.

Qualifications:

  • B.S in life science, biology, business or marketing
  • 5+ years of direct account management experience in a dermatology setting with a history of proven past performance that has met and exceeded expectations.
  • Candidate must have 5+ years of experience working in the medical device or pharmaceutical space, ideally focused in the dermatology segment.
  • Demonstrated measurable revenue generation at either a diagnostic, medical device, pharmaceutical or relevant biotechnology company and competing in the dermatology market.
  • Established relationships with C suite in larger medical organizations is required
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and ability to determine solutions for customer (consultative sales approach).
  • Demonstrated initiative (self-starter) and leadership/organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexible with a “win-win” approach to sales in a variety of Customer Market Segments
  • Must be able to interface with Executives and all levels of management and fully understand the financial aspects of the selling process.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required up to 60%
  • Ability to engage in a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and indifferences while connecting client needs with Elekta’s capabilities.
  • Comfortable selling to physicians, practice administrators, and the executive level of private equity groups that own dermatology practices (CEO, COO, CFO)
  • Keen understanding of the payor and reimbursement environment in the skin cancer space.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate proactively, manage multiple projects and prioritize daily tasks while managing critical deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of clinical data and alternative options for the treatment of nmsc.
  • Excellent knowledge of skin cancer treatment options and competitors.
  • Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a very high level of confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate consistent closing abilities throughout the sales cycle.
  • Possess a very positive attitude and an understanding of the dynamics involved with organizational growth and change.
  • Impeccable oral and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be very proficient with all Microsoft Office products – particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Effective and regular utilization of Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal direction from, or interface with, manager.
  • Problem solving, decision making and technical learning.

The US base salary range for this position is $135,000-145,000.
