Business Services Advisor Salary Range:

• $25.06 – $26.70/ hour 

Business Services Advisor Responsibilities:

• Serves as the primary information resource for the assigned region of retail branches for all business services matters.
• Drives business services referral activity from assigned retail branches.
• Provide resources and information on how to start and grow businesses.
• Develops and expands awareness of SCCU’s business deposit and loan accounts as well as our business coaching and consulting services throughout our retail branch network.  
• Assist business owners with developing business, marketing, and financial plans as well as creating marketing materials, recordkeeping systems, and other tools necessary to operate their business. 
• Provide advice and assistance to business owners including problem-solving, goal setting and achievement, increasing self-esteem and confidence, and assessing strengths and weaknesses. 
• Provide individual and group coaching sessions to train others on how to achieve desired goals.
• Manage line of business partner relationships with branches to promote knowledge, awareness, and good communication to members.

Business Services Advisor Requirements:

• 1-3 years’ experience in retail banking or financial services back-office functions required.
• Valid Florida Driver’s license and good driving record (frequent travel by car required to branches within the North Brevard Region)
• Must complete the Association of Accredited Small Business Consultants Simplified Examination within 6 months of employment.
• Two-year College or University diploma (Associate’s degree) in Business Administration, Finance/Accounting, or equivalent experience required. 
• Effective public speaking and/or sales presentations skills.
• Proficiency with word processing, graphics, spreadsheets, and database management systems. Ability to write reports, analyze data, and make recommendations.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, persuasion and sales skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure complete understanding and comprehension of the intent and content of communications.

Business Services Advisor Hours:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. Flexible Schedule options are available.
