YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries related to our Cloud product.
Provide direct support and assistance to the Director of Cloud Engineering, contributing to the strategic direction and execution of our Cloud initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive roadmap for our Cloud product, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
Establish and promote best practices in billing methodologies, queuing systems, and other technical aspects of our Cloud platform.
Mentor and coach junior engineers within the team, fostering their professional growth and development.
Cultivate a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the organization, encouraging the exchange of ideas and expertise.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, following reference architectures and leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation within our Cloud offerings.
Lead R&D efforts to evaluate and invest in new hardware technologies, assessing their potential impact on our Cloud infrastructure and services.
Create and deliver public-facing technical content, such as webinars, blog posts, and presentations, to showcase our Cloud capabilities and thought leadership in the industry.

WHAT YOU ARE EXPECTED TO BRING

A minimum of 10 years of experience in classic software development, with a proven track record of success in the cloud business domain.
Extensive expertise in working with public hyperscalers, demonstrating a deep understanding of their platforms, services, and best practices.
Strong leadership skills with prior experience in leading technical teams and driving complex projects to successful outcomes.
An agile mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
